Boys Cross Country

The 200 Mile Club is a summer base training for our Cross Country runners.  Run 200 or more miles over the summer and get a T-shirt.

200MileLogoMiles count from May 10 to Aug. 17, 2017.  Four miles on a bike count as 1 mile running.  If you start May 10th, that’s exactly 2 mi/day.  If you haven’t been running regularly, I recommend starting with less, say 2 miles 3-4/week the first two weeks, then build up gradually. It’s OK to walk!  You can use, an online running log using GPS to track miles and map routes, or a pocket calendar.  Contact Coach Dean ( for password info to join SSHS XC group.

Please let your parents know you will need a physical and have to set up an account on RegisterMyAthlete by August 10th. (Link on Doctors get busy as school approaches, make an appointment early.  The $50 fee can be paid at the district office or online for a $3.95 extra fee.
